Local Business Wins Major Contract

Fulton Hogan Quarry at Waterloo has a won a contract to supply 430,000 tonnes of road base material for the construction of the new Northern Expressway, near Gawler. The contract, over 78 weeks, will mean up to 14 trucks on the route delivering 3 loads a day to the construction site. Quarry manager, Paul Merritt, says he will require an additional two staff to operate plant at the quarry due to the contract.
