Main North Road to be Up-graded

Federal Funding has been allocated to rehabilitate 20 kilometres of undulating road surface between Tarlee and Roseworthy. The deteriorating condition of the road has been a major to users for some time, with the $6m work scheduled to begin in October. At the same time there are plans for two more overtaking lanes are to be constructed, one near Templars and another near Tarlee, with $4.78M OF State Government money allocated.

The construction of another overtaking lane at Auburn is also planned for the future when funding becomes available.
