About Us

The Mid North Regional Development Board was established in 1988, in partnership with State and Local Government, to strengthen and diversify the economic base of the region. The Boards area covers the Clare and Gilbert Valleys and Goyder Councils region.

Some of the Board's achievements include locating suitable premises for a company processing oaten hay for overseas markets, working Imageclosely with a food purveyor to access and market salt bush hogget, facilitating the establishment of poultry breeding and growing facilities, and the establishment of a perlite processing plant.

The Board also assists business in securing government financial assistance for major projects, and has done so in the wine industry, engineering manufacturing industry and the timber industry.
